The contractors and suppliers of Dakshina Kannada, found it expedient to create and establish an association to facilitate and regulate their day to day affairs, transactions, dealings, to promote fair competition in the industry and to have benefit and advantage of securing protection to their legally run and established business. With that object in mind, the Association was formed on April 2016.

Vision

The purpose and object of formation of this Association is to
1. Securing jobs for local contractors and promote use of local human resource, infrastructure and skills in the contract jobs / opportunities in and around Mangalore.
2. To interact with the industry for regular payments to contractors and suppliers and to initiate the necessary procedure for collection of bill amount for the jobs already completed and recovery of payments delayed beyond the stipulated/agreed period.
3. To create awareness of legal rights and liabilities of members and involve them in social and charitable activities. We have strength of over 100 participating establishments/individuals.
4. To create an interface between all stake holders in creating an industry friendly environment, interact with leaders of all political parties and leverage their good offices and commitment in fast tracking approvals and avail their guidance in finding solutions that may create impedance to growth of business in the district.
